Farmstead Provisions is a NPIP-certified flock. All hatching eggs are collected, stored, and packed according to NPIP best practices.
Shipping insurance is optional but strongly recommended for all hatching egg orders.
If shipping insurance is purchased, Farmstead Provisions will provide a replacement for hatching egg orders that:
Arrive broken or damaged
Are lost by USPS
Experience shipping delays exceeding 7 days from ship date
Farmstead Provisions will cover the shipping for the second batch. The insurance is good for one replacement.
In accordance with NPIP guidelines, no guarantee is made regarding hatchability of shipped eggs. Hatch rates are influenced by factors outside the seller’s control, including—but not limited to—handling during transit, temperature fluctuations, incubation equipment, and individual incubation practices.
By purchasing hatching eggs and/or shipping insurance, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these conditions.
